What Paperwork Does a Fleet Sale Need?
Each unit needs proof that you own it and that it's free of liens. On a fleet, that means one folder per machine, sorted before the first truck shows up:
- Titles for road units.Dump trucks and trailers are usually titled; off-road machines usually aren't, so a bill of sale or purchase invoice shows ownership.
- Lien releases or payoff letters. If any unit is financed, get a payoff letter from each lender. Loans are paid at closing and the lien release follows. See selling equipment with a loan.
- Serial numbers and hours. Photograph the serial plate and hour meter on every unit. It speeds up the reply and avoids mix-ups between similar machines.
- Who can sign. For a company, estate or bankruptcy sale, confirm who is authorized to sign for the business, the executor or the trustee before terms are agreed.
If paperwork is missing on a unit, say so on the list. It doesn't stop the rest of the fleet from moving.

How many machines do you need for a fleet deal?
There's no minimum. Send the list whether it's 3 machines or 30, and we'll tell you which units we can make an offer on.
Do you buy mixed fleets with different equipment types?
Yes. Mixed lists are fine: excavators, loaders, dozers, cranes, trucks and trailers. We make offers on the units we buy, and the rest can be listed free on our marketplace.
How fast can you close on a fleet purchase?
We reply within one business day. Timing after that depends on how many units there are and where they sit; payment and pickup terms are agreed in writing before anything moves.
What if some machines in my fleet don't run?
Send them anyway. Non-running units are priced on what they're worth as-is, and condition is noted on any marketplace listing.
Can you pick up equipment from multiple locations?
Yes. We help coordinate haulers from multiple job sites, storage yards or facilities. Transport cost depends on distance and machine size, and we agree who pays it before anything moves.
